Enxylascope aims at bioprospecting and producing a novel set of xylan debranching enzymes with high catalytic activity and wide operation conditions, thereby demonstrating its ability to make xylan a key ingredient in a variety of consumer products.

Assess regulatory compliance and market acceptance of those consumer products.

Establish a process flow diagram including all process nodes, inputs, and outputs streams of the xylan conversion process using enzymes.

Pilot the production of 4 enzymes and application testing of cosmetic, personal care, and nutraceutical products.

Discover and characterise 4 novel xylan debranching enzymes by using multi-omics and high-throughput screening (HTPS) methods.
