The whole EnxylaScope team was excited to participate in the EuroScience Open Forum (ESOF) 2024, which was held in Katowice, Poland from June 12th to 15th. ESOF is the largest pan-European science communication event, and this year’s event focused on the theme of “Life changes science.”
We were proud to present our work at the EnxylaScope round table, where we discuss about our latest developments in the field of enzyme technologies. We also had the opportunity to network with scientists, researchers, and industry professionals from all over Europe.
Key takeaways from ESOF 2024:
– The importance of open science and collaboration in driving scientific progress.
– The need for public engagement with science to ensure that research is responsive to societal needs.
– The potential of enzyme technologies for more sustainable consumer products.
In addition to our project presentation, we also participated in a panel discussion on the future of the enzymatic processes. In the case of EnxylaScope, we discussed the transformation of Xylan for its application in cosmetics.
We were grateful for the opportunity to share our work with such a wide audience and to learn from other scientists and researchers.
Overall, we had a great experience at ESOF 2024. We believe that the event was a valuable opportunity to promote our work and to connect with the global scientific community. Big thank you to the organizers of ESOF 2024 for putting on such a successful event and of course, to our sibilings projects OXIPRO, FuturEnzyme and RadicalZ for all their support and collaboration.
